Adam Isler wrote of his photo of four young persons together in a sudden downpour:
“You can see the spirit of inquiry in each one of them, and as they converse like some philosophers in Raphael’s School of Athens, their pleasure is inescapable. I converted this photo to black and white because I felt it rendered more vividly the contrasts of dark and light, the playful and serious, what’s static and dynamic.”
